Registration and supervision
Psychotherapy is a regulated profession in Ontario. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and bound by its standards of practice and code of ethics. You can verify my registration in the CRPO public register.
"Qualifying" means that I am completing the supervised clinical hours required for full registration. I practise under the clinical supervision of an experienced registered clinician, which means that aspects of our work may be discussed with my supervisor, who is bound by the same duty of confidentiality. This is explained in detail during our first session.
